Rental prices are quoted upon request and based on spaces used for the event. Additionally, in-house production costs, such as security, set-up crews and breakdown crews, are itemized for each event and include all labor necessary to make your event a success.
Rental fees are based on a four-hour event. Overtime charges will be incurred for each additional hour or portion thereof. Event set-up may not begin until the Museum closes to the public. Exceptions may be made depending on the production and management approval.
CxRA is the exclusive caterer at the Museum. Frost Lighting is the exclusive vendor for lighting within the Museum. From time to time, there may be other exclusive vendors, which the Museum will communicate upon initial inquiry. The Museum also offers a preferred vendor list for other event needs.
New York City regulations prohibit smoking anywhere on the premises, including Pier 86. Individuals found smoking will be asked to leave the event and the premises. Smoking is permitted only outside the Museum complex.
Because of the ship’s status as a historic landmark, most spaces are accessible by wheelchair. Areas that are not accessible include the fo’c’sle, combat information center, island, Growler and Concorde.
Banners and signs are permitted for your event. Clients will speak to the event manager about specific rules and regulations. Existing Museum signage cannot be moved. All event signage must be removed after the event.
By hosting an event at the Museum, you provide valuable support for the programs and services we offer for the community.
